Iris and Offspring

Sumi-E traditional Chinese Brush Painting was what created this lone iris with buds. It is a painting style as original as it's name. It uses brushes specific to it's style and others do not make the strokes necessary for the art. It is a wonderful and meditative art style.
The Bearded Iris is one of my favorite flowers for its simplicity and its vibrant color.
